A Zimmerli tradition continues as the museum welcomes visitors to participate in the university's annual Rutgers Day! This FREE celebration includes tours and family-friendly activities throughout the day.

Rutgers Day 2017 activities at the Zimmerli included:

  • Be an Art Detective: Scavenger Hunt (10 am to 4 pm)
  • I am Art: Face Painting (10 am to 4 pm)
  • Art Explorations (10 am to 4 pm)
  • Make Colorful Art Prints, led by the Brodsky Center (10 am to 4 pm)
  • Storytime at the Museum (10:30 am to 1:30 pm)
  • Rutgers Children's Choir and Scarlet Singers, Mason Gross Extension Division Student Performance (11 am to 12 pm)
  • Young Artist Program and Adult Chamber Music Program, Mason Gross Extension Division Student Performance (12 pm to 12:45 pm)

Activities take place in Camden, New Brunswick, and Newark. Each campus features a vast array of activities and entertainment, as well as opportunities for prospective students and their parents to explore the university. The event is held rain or shine.
