In Case You Missed It...

The Zimmerli reopened September 1 with a slate of new exhibitions, including Melvin Edwards: Five Decades, the first retrospective of the artist’s work in more than 20 years. His career (which includes 30 years as a professor at Rutgers) spans crucial periods of upheaval and change in American culture and society, and his sculpture provides a critical bridge between modernist techniques and materials and contemporary approaches to the art object.

Registration is now open for fall drawing classes. Adult classes meet on Saturday afternoons, beginning September 26. Afterschool sessions for children, which are now extended to ten weeks, begin Wednesday, September 30.
