Education
The Education Department of the Zimmerli Art Museum conceives and implements programs in arts education, art history, literature, dance and music for visitors of all ages, from pre-school to senior citizens. These programs, such as lectures, studio classes, tours and concerts, are designed to empower the general public with knowledge that will make the museum's exhibitions and permanent collections more accessible and rewarding. In addition to its in-house public programs, the Education Department offers outreach presentations to schools, assisted living facilities, and other institutions throughout the state. The Education Department is committed to serving the Rutgers academic community, the local constituency of New Brunswick, and communities throughout the State of New Jersey.
